A little boy got into a car crash on his birthday. Ga. officers made sure it didn’t ruin his big day

Flowery Branch police officers helped to make a child’s birthday special after he was involved in a car accident.

Officers responded to a crash that involved two cars on Wednesday around 1:08 p.m.

When officers arrived, they found two little boys, Baker and Miles, who officials said appeared to be distressed from the accident.

Officers said they were told Wednesday was Miles’ birthday.

After officers worked the scene, they invited the children and their families to the Flowery Branch Police Department, where they were gifted toys and bicycles from AJ with Branch House Tavern.

“Officer Parker turned a bad experience into a greater experience for the children and made it extra special for little Miles’ birthday,” FBPD said on Facebook. “This is a prime example of what Community Policing is all about.”

Officials did not provide any information regarding how the crash happened and if there were any injuries.
