Loose Women’s Brenda Edwards says late son Jamal visits her as a fox

Brenda Edwards has said her late son Jamal Edwards visits her as a fox.

The Loose Women star revealed that the 31-year-old music entrepreneur, who died from a cardiac arrythmia last February, makes his presence known to her in the form of the animal.

“He’s around me all the time," said Edwards, who explained that her son had a love of foxes since he was 15 when he used to film them in the back garden.

“I feel it,” she insisted. “I have foxes coming up to me and sitting like a dog and waiting for me to stroke them.”

The ITV panellist continued: “I don’t see foxes anywhere, then when I finished my panto and went back to my apartment, there was a fox sitting outside patiently waiting for me.”

According to the Daily Star, Edwards believes she will be reunited with Jamal and her parents, who died when she was four years old.

“It keeps me going and helps me face the day," she said.

“I’m here to spread joy, love and laughter.”

Last week, the 53-year-old said she was left in tears after hearing Ed Sheeran’s rap tribute to her son.

He had been known for his music platform SBTV, which launched the careers of some of UK’s biggest music acts.

Last Tuesday, Sheeran revealed that he would be helping to relaunch F64 [Fresh 64], SBTV’s flagship freestyle rap series.

To kick off the launch, the pop star posted a clip on social media of himself performing a freestyle rap dedicated to Edwards on an empty stage.

During ITV’s Good Morning Britain, Edwards said she was "overwhelmed" by the gesture.

“Ed sent me the final edit two days ago," she told hosts Ben Shephard and Kate Garraway.

“I’ve been in and out of crying ever since. I say happy tears, they’re positive tears. It just means so much.

“Going back to Ed, when Jamal passed, he was at my house with me and [daughter] Tanisha for the whole week, just looking after us.

“There wasn’t anything he wasn’t sorting out and doing.”
