Warning: Lost spoilers follow.

Lost star Daniel Dae Kim has revealed that his character on the show, Jin-Soo Kwon, wasn't actually meant to survive the whole six seasons.

The award-winning series follows the passengers of Oceanic Flight 815, who have to survive after their plane crash lands on a mysterious island.

In the finale, fans might remember seeing him in the church with many of the other characters, but Jin was actually meant to be killed off after season one.

The actor told Vulture that the cast were "constantly" worried they w0uld be killed off.

"There were maybe one or two of us that really had job security, and every other one of us was paging through the scripts as soon as we got them to see whether we survived.

"From what I understand, it was planned for me to be killed off in season one.

"I was not a very sympathetic character, so it would have been easy for me to get killed off without the show missing a beat. Through a lucky confluence of events, I was able to stay on and last the whole six seasons."
