Yahoo News Louis Walsh talks X Factor future – could he come back to the judging panel?
No matter how many times Louis Walsh leaves The X Factor behind, he always seems to come back. With an All-Stars and a celebrity edition planned for later this year, it seems a shoo-in that Louis will return to the judging panel once more. Right?
Louis himself has admitted that he'd like to do it again, and is in talks with Simon Cowell about a return.
"I'm speaking to Simon. Let's see," the music manager told The Mirror.
"The All-Star concept is great. People will watch it to see Leona Lewis, G4, Sam Bailey. Real singers, real talent. It could be like battle of the divas."
If Louis does come back, however, he wants his partner-in-crime Sharon Osbourne to join him too, despite her feud with Cowell.
He said: "Sharon would be great. She's burnt a few bridges, but that's what’s good about her – she has an opinion. She's never boring or predictable.
"She was only joking. It was all panto talk. They will make up. I'm going to mediate between them. I'll do anything necessary."
Sharon has downplayed talk of her return, stating: "Nobody's asked me, but no. It's a part of my life that I absolutely had the best time, met great, amazing people.
"Had the best fun, was naughty, had a laugh. But that part of my life is gone, and you can't go back. So I have to move on for myself."
The X Factor is due to return to ITV later this year.
