Channel 4 is releasing a new cooking show that will see stars from Love Island, Made in Chelsea and First Dates competing against each other after learning from the best culinary experts.

Ten self-proclaimed 'horrendous' celebrity home cooks will appear in Celebrity Cooking School, testing whether their culinary abilities will be turned around.

They will tackle a series of complex cooking challenges, forcing them to step out of their comfort zones and into the deep end of the kitchen as they aim to be crowned 'Best in Class' at the end of the series.

If they don't impress, they'll fail and leave the school, unable to benefit any longer from the experts they are learning from.

The celebrity cooking crash course will see Love Island's Toby Aromolaran, who was paired with Chloe Burrows on the 2021 series of the ITV dating show, and Made In Chelsea star Maeva D'Ascanio as part of the all-star cast.

They will be joined by Kerry Katona, Stevo the Madman, influencer Sam Thompson, presenter Zeze Millz, First Dates star Laura Tott, musician Shaun Ryder, comedian Paul Chowdhry and Kim Woodburn on the show.

The celebrities will be trained and judged by the Michelin star chef Giorgio Locatelli, who believes he can teach anyone to cook.

Michelin-trained chef Poppy O'Toole will also be helping Locatelli to train and guide the fledgling cooks as the celebs attempt to create and present world-class recipes that will impress even notoriously judgemental chef Gordon Ramsay.

Much like Channel 4's other popular cooking show, The Great British Bake Off, the only prize available seems to be bragging rights and critical acclaim rather than big cash prizes for charity.

No matter the prize, the celebs will be trying to out-cook each other and make it to the end, with many catastrophes along the way.

Celebrity Cooking School will be airing on E4 and All 4 later this year, though a specific release date has not yet been announced.
