Lucy Mecklenburgh is pregnant with her second child.

The 30-year-old former 'TOWIE' star took to Instagram to share the news that she and ex-'Coronation Street' actor Ryan Thomas, 37, are expecting again.

Lucy posted an adorable photo of her showing off her baby bump with the couple's 20-month-old son Roman copying his mum by lifting his T-shirt to show his tummy.

She captioned the post: "Here we go again @ryanthomas84."

Many of Lucy's famous friends sent their congratulations to Lucy and Ryan, including some of Ryan's former 'Corrie' co-stars.

Nikki Sanderson - who played Candice Stowe and now stars in 'Hollyoaks' - wrote: 'Amazing! Congratulations!"

Catherine Tyldesley - known to soap fans as Eva Price - wrote: "Yeyyyy. Huge congratulations my loves."

Some of Lucy's fellow reality stars were keen to send their well wishes too, with 'The Only Way Is Essex' alum Courtney Green writing: "Congratulations," and ex 'Love Island' contestant Rosie Williams saying: "Ahh amazing!! Congratulations, beautiful family."

While it is the only the second time for Lucy, it will be the third time Ryan has become a parent as he has daughter Scarlett, 13, from a previous relationship with 38-year-old Tina O'Brien, who still stars in 'Coronation Street' as Sarah Platt, whom Ryan's character Jason Grimshaw had an on/off relationship with.

The happy news comes shortly after the couple were forced to endure a nightmare when Roman was taken to intensive care and put on a ventilator after she found him "blue in his cot".

At the time, she wrote on Instagram: "As some of you may have noticed we haven't been on social media lately. Just over a week ago I found Roman blue in his cot – probably every parent's worst nightmare. Without going into two much detail it ended up with Roman being transferred to St Mary's London intensive care being put on a ventilator. Thankfully we are now all home and Roman is back to his cheeky self."
