ORGANISERS have revealed the dates for next year's Lytham Festival.

It will run from Wednesday, June 28 to Sunday, July 2 and a limited number of early bird, five-day passes go on sale on Friday at 2022 prices.

The announcement follows the climax of the festival's biggest and best year to date – a massive 10 nights which included headline sets by the likes of Diana Ross, Duran Duran, The Strokes and Paul Weller in the Proms Arena on Lytham Green.

The event - extended to 10 nights to make up for two years without a festival due to Covid restrictions - attracted almost 200,000 fans to Lytham for a series of sold-out shows.

The line up for 2023 is due to be announced later this year, with ticketholders able to secure a special priced ticket ahead of the official announcement and on-sale.

Lytham Festival co-founder Peter Taylor said: "Direct from the success of 2022 we are already well into the planning stage for 2023 so we are delighted to announce the dates and get our very popular five-day passes on sale.

"Not only does this give our loyal customers the opportunity to grab their tickets to every night early on, it also gives those visiting from further away the chance to secure their accommodation as soon as possible.

"Our plans for Lytham Festival 2023 are very exciting. The dust is still settling on our biggest and best year ever after 10 nights of headliners. We return to our usual five nights for 2023 and we plan to make it yet another festival to remember for tens of thousands of people."
