Macaulay Culkin and his partner Brenda Song have welcomed their first child together.

The couple - who met in 2017 on the set of Changeland - have welcomed a baby boy.

He was born on Monday, April 5 at 1:10pm, in Los Angeles, weighing 6 pounds, 14 ounces, according to Esquire.

Now it has been confirmed the newborn is named Dakota Song Culkin.

The baby boy is named after the actor’s late sister, who died in a car collision in L.A. in 2008.

“We’re overjoyed,” the couple said in a joint statement. about the arrival of their child.

The couple are private and did not announce Song was pregnant before the birth.

Culkin was one of the most successful child actors of the 1990s and is best known for playing Kevin McCallister in the Home Alone films.

He is currently filming series 10 of American Horror Story alongside Sarah Paulson, Kathy Bates, Billie Lourd, Evan Peters and Lily Rabe.

Song, 33, is best known for playing London Tipton in comedy series The Suite Life Of Zack & Cody

Culkin, 40, previously joked onThe Joe Rogan Experience podcast that Song is “a good one, so I’m probably going to put some babies in her in a little bit. I mean, we’ve definitely been practicing.”

He added, “I’m going to have some pretty babies. She’s Asian, so I’m gonna have tiny, little Asian babies. It’s going to be adorable.”

For a cover story on the actor last year, Song told Esquire, “You can’t be around him and not be happy.”
