He'll join returning stars Romesh Ranganathan as host and Jamie Redknapp as red team captain, but Richards won't be in every episode as the show is set to feature a rotating cast of guest blue captains after Freddie Flintoff's departure from his 12-year role.

I’m buzzing to be joining with two of my favourite people in Romesh and Jamie and am thrilled to be a regular guest panellist on the blue team throughout series seventeen.
