Murder suspect at large after man stabbed to death in London

Jemal Ebrahim

A "dangerous individual" remains at large after the murder of a young man in north London.

Jemal Ebrahim, 23, was found stabbed in Russell Road, Haringey, just after 8pm on Wednesday.

Despite treatment at the scene, he died later in hospital.

The next day, police arrested four men, aged 21, 23, 24 and 26, on suspicion of affray.

They were bailed until June pending further enquiries.

But Detective Chief Inspector Simon Stancombe said the person responsible for Mr Ebrahim's death "remains in the community".

He added: "It remains unclear where the attack on the victim took place.

"And while our investigation is continuing at speed, I am still keen to hear from anyone who has information relating to the murder.

"A life has been taken, a family is devastated, and the dangerous individual responsible remains in the community, getting on with their life."
