GLOW star Alison Brie has spoken about the potential for a fourth season following the premiere of the third earlier this month.

While the show hasn't been officially renewed for another run by Netflix, the Ruth Wilder actress admitted she's still hopeful that they'll be given the greenlight for season 4.

"We don't know yet," Brie told The Hollywood Reporter. "We're crossing our fingers.

"I fully support anyone wanting to go online and voice their support for the show," she added. "It couldn't hurt."

Her comments echo those of co-star Kate Nash, who recently spoke to Digital Spy about a potential fourth season.

"God, I hope [season 4 happens]," she said.

"I hope so, I think it's definitely more story to tell, I think it’s our best season yet and it would be so amazing to continue to grow these characters and tell their stories, they’re all so fascinating and there's just so much to tell, I think this season it opened up all these kind of details."

Nash added of where things could go following the relocation to Las Vegas in season 3, adding: "It could go to so many different places in a way. What would it be like if we had a season where GLOW is on tour? That would be cool, wouldn't it?

"My friend and used-to-be drummer Alicia Warrington is now actually in Florida working for WWE, she's working for NXT. She’s doing this thing called the coconut loop, where they do the Florida gigs, touring around Florida seeing wrestling shows, it kind of feels like being in the '80s.

"Some of the fans, you can just imagine what the fans are like, hardcore wrestling fans in Florida - that would be pretty mad."

GLOW is available to stream now on Netflix.
