Yahoo News Noah Centineo to star in Netflix's new film The Perfect Date
Turns out it will be just a few months until Noah Centineo returns to Netflix as its dream boyfriend.
The streaming platform announced this week that To All the Boys I've Loved Before's Centineo will star alongside Riverdale's Cami Mendes and Austin & Ally's Laura Marano in The Perfect Date.
Netflix didn't give a lot of detail, but it did offer a little teaser on Instagram: "Very Important Announcement Alert🚨 @ncentineo will pretend to be your boyfriend this summer! Well, he will in the Netflix original movie The Perfect Date w/ @camimendes and @lauramarano."
It shared two stills from the film: one of Centineo on a date with Mendes, and one in which he's with Marano.

The film stars Centineo as Brooks Rattigan who creates a dating app wherein he plays the roll of 'stand-in' boyfriend in a bid to raise money for college.
"Through the journey of being a different person every night of the week, he finds out that the real Brooks isn’t who he thought at all and to his surprise falls for the real girl of his dreams," the synopsis continues.
No release date has been confirmed just yet.
Centineo will also reprise his breakout Netflix role as Peter Kavinsky in the To All The Boys I've Loved Before sequel that was recently confirmed by his co-star Lana Condor.
Condor spoke about their real-life chemistry during a recent appearance on the Tonight Show, revealing the pair had set a no-dating pact while working on the films.
"I did [set early boundaries with Noah,]" Condor explained. "It was right before we shot the movie, just getting to know each other. And I felt something. And then so we went like this, and I looked at him and I went, 'Noah, it’s not going to happen between us'.
"Yeah, because I felt, for the show to do well, we had to be best-friend professionals. And so I was like, 'It’s just not going to happen'. And he was like, 'Yeah, it’s not going to happen'. And I was like, 'Great!'
"So we kind of did what we did in To All the Boys the movie, we kind of made a contract and set boundaries and then I’m so happy that we did that because the movie turned out great and now we’re doing a sequel," she continued.
She confirmed to host Jimmy Fallon that of course the chemistry was still there. "We still have the spark, yeah, absolutely," Condor said. "We were just on the phone the other day, just talking about the sequel."
