The OA fans, rejoice! The science-fiction series isn't coming for a third season after Netflix axed it, but the show's co-creators are working on a new project together.

As reported by Deadline, Brit Marling and Zal Batmanglij are working on a limited series for FX that will see the former star as a 'Gen Z amateur sleuth' named Darby Hart.

Titled Retreat, the series will follow Hart and 11 other people at a remote retreat (of course), although that 11 will soon become 10 when someone is found dead. Hart suspects murder, and sets out to prove it, although everyone else has different ideas.

FX president of original programming Gina Balian is quoted in a statement as stating: "Brit Marling and Zal Batmanglij have delivered a suspenseful story that updates the classic mystery genre with a bold new character for our times.

"We are thrilled that Brit and Zal and the rest of the creative team will bring this series to life with their unique points of view and care."

Marling herself revealed that the duo have been working on the series for over a year and a half. Responding to the announcement on her Instagram, the star said that she has never felt a character "pour out" like Darby Hart, and teases that we are in store for something special.
