On Tuesday night at London's May Fair Hotel, Olivia Colman was honoured with yet another accolade as she accepted the Raindance Film Festival’s first ever Icon Award. T

The actress, who won an Oscar this year for her performance in The Favourite, chose to give her speech at the awards with bare feet.

Dressed in a sharp black suit paired with a lace turtleneck, the star was initially seen wearing pointed scarlet heels. However when she later went up onstage to accept her award, the heels were nowhere to be seen - though her red phone did make an appearance at the podium.

The glamorous event saw Colman and many other stars pose for striking studio portraits at ceremony, including Charlie’s Angels reboot star Ella Balinska.

He was also reunited with his Mamma Mia 2 co-star Hugh Skinner, who channelled the awkward energy of his Fleabag character.

According to Screen Daily, Colman’s award was adapted from an already existing award: the Raindance Auteur Award. Previously, the Auteur accolade only honoured directors which have previously included Guy Ritchie and Terry Gilliam - the Icon Award appears to be an attempt to broaden the category.

Raindance founder Eliot Grove said of Colman, "When faced with a decision of who might receive our inaugural Icon Award and all that it implies, the choice was simple. Raindance is delighted to celebrate Olivia's ongoing contribution to U.K. film."

Colman, who has previously served on Raindance’s judging panel, also said in a statement, “Raindance has reigned over Britain's independent film scene for 27 years. Many of our industry's most important voices have been amplified because of Raindance, and it remains a place where non-mainstream stories can be told, and where underdogs can flourish. I'm incredibly proud to be the recipient of the Raindance Icon Award.”

Other stars to attend included Karen Bryson MBE, Warrior's Joanna Vanderham, Craig Roberts and director Simon Evans.
