Yahoo News Once Upon a Time star lands key role in Dexter revival series
A Once Upon a Time star has landed a key role in the Dexter revival.
TV Line reports Jamie Chung has been cast as a 'famous true-crime podcaster from Los Angeles who finds herself caught up in the still-murky central mystery.'
The 10-part series, which was announced in October, will air on Showtime in the US and welcome back Michael C Hall as the eponymous serial killer.
Having moved on from Oregon, the untitled series will see the character living in a fictional small town in Upstate New York called Iron Lake.

Picking up almost a decade on from the show's controversial finale, the Dexter revival will also star The Mandalorian and Twilight actress Julia Jones.
Jones will play Iron Lake's first Native American police chief Angela Bishop — with Johnny Sequoyah cast as her teenage daughter Audrey.
Alano Miller has joined the cast as police sergeant Logan, while The Flash actor Clancy Brown has been cast as the town's "unofficial mayor" and the show's main villain Kurt Caldwell.
Chung played Mulan in the ABC fantasy drama and has also starred in Lovecraft Country, The Hangover Part II and Gotham.

Production on the Dexter revival is due to begin this year, with the first episodes also arriving this autumn.
An official premiere date has yet to be revealed, though Michael C Hall has promised fans it will make up for the show's original finale.
Dexter will return on Showtime in the US.
