Yahoo News One Tree Hill's Chad Michael Murray responds to reboot possibility
Everything is getting rebooted or revived nowadays, especially hit American dramas from the late 1990s or 2000s, so it's almost inevitable that someone will announce a new One Tree Hill series.

"The group text is about to blow up because it's almost Christmas, I think I get about 64 messages on the group chain from everybody, just going back and forth, back and forth, back and forth. When you look at your phone, you got 64 texts. 'I don't know that many people. OK, it's all of them.'"
"I've got to imagine at some point, there would be some version of (a revival)," Chad added, explaining how he thinks it could go down. "I have an idea that's been bouncing around in my head to do a new generation of this show, dealing with today's issue."
Highlighting how many aspects of life are different nowadays to back in the 90s, he said that he would be interested in exploring how today's children are dealing with high school drama.

The aforementioned Burton recently spoke out about the original show's treatment of female sexuality, stating: "It's gross to me that there were no women in positions of power there. No one we could turn to to advocate for us."
