The cast of Orphan Black have revealed they were definitely not prepared to film the show's final scenes.

The series will come to an end this week after five seasons and a lot of unexpected turns which a lot of fans are unhappy about.

Nonetheless, we doubt they took it quite as hard as the Orphan Black cast did. Speaking to EW, the series long-serving castmembers revealed they were left feeling "stunned" when filming came to an end.

But - sorry guys - it has. So say goodbye to Emmy winner Tatiana Maslany and all her clone personalities still standing.

You too, fans.

"It's a big testament to how we felt about it," said Maria Doyle Kennedy, who stars as Mrs. S.

"Nobody wanted to go through it or to hear that it had wrapped alone.

"Forty people who weren't filming all came to hang out, to be together in the cold until four in the morning, and to clap and cry and somehow try to recognise the moment."

Kristian Bruun - who plays Donnie Hendrix - added: "We just stood there stunned for the first few minutes in a circle and people were handing out champagne and we didn't know what to say."

Awww. You guys.

Orphan Black airs on BBC America in the US, and on Netflix in the UK.
