Oti and Motsi Mabuse will investigate their family history on ‘DNA Journey’.

The ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ sisters will appear on the fourth season of the ITV1 and ITVX show to look into their ancestors.

The show - which is fronted by Kate Garraway and Allison Hammond - will also take stars like 'Paddington' star Hugh Bonneville, comedian John Bishop, 'Line of Duty' star Adrian Dunbar, comedian Alex Brooker through their family’s stories which promise "astonishing revelations".

Katie Rawcliffe, the head of Entertainment Commissioning at ITV, said: "'DNA Journey’ delves deep into the celebrity’s family history and has unearthed some astonishing revelations over the last few years.

"It’s great to see these famous faces sharing their journey with each other and we’ve got another great line up with some more fascinating surprises.”

Oti - whose first solo presenting gig, the dating singing show ‘Romeo and Duet’ was axed after poor ratings this summer - was recently announced as the Saturday presenter of a new weekend morning chat show set to air later in the year on the same channel.

The ‘Dancing on Ice’ judge was named alongside the ex ‘Love Island’ presenter Laura Whitmore as part of the lineup as they renewed the Katie Piper’s ‘Katie Piper’s Breakfast Show’ for a second series.

Regarding the news, Katie said: "In Katie, Oti and Laura we have three dynamic, engaging broadcasters who bring energy and flair to our weekend schedules. Each of their shows will give viewers that perfect weekend wake up call."

Executive producer Amanda Ross added: "We are looking forward to a summer of fun with these three wonderful women driving weekend mornings.

"Their very different personalities give each series a unique flavour, a treat for the viewers and the team!"
