Parklife 2023: The 1975, Aitch and The Prodigy announced as line-up revealed

Parklife has announced the line-up for their 2023 edition in usual fashion, with a huge rollout artists across the two-day Manchester weekend festival.

The UK’s biggest metropolitan festival kicks the festival season off in early June with a stellar curation of acts including The 1975, Aitch, The Prodigy, Wu-Tang Clan and Nas, Fred again.. and Little Simz.

The 1975 will also be bringing their ever-influential sound to Heaton Park in what promises to be a unmissable performance.

Manchester native Aitch, who will be headlining Parklife in a UK festival headline exclusive, said he was “buzzin” to be topping the bill this year:

“Buzzin to be headlining Parklife this year! It’s been one of my main goals since I started music so for it to be happening now at this point is unreal. I don’t care what happens after this, I’m happy.”

Global stars Wu-Tang Clan and Nas will take to the stage of Parklife as their first ever performance together in the UK, in news that will send excitement levels to fever pitch for hip-hop fans.

London’s own Fred again.. and Little Simz also top the bill after a hugely successful year for both artists.

BRIT and Mercury Award winner Little Simz will take to the main stage following her critically acclaimed album No Thank You, which was released last year.

Fred again.. brings the party to Heaton Park after securing three nominations at the BRIT Awards, including British Album of the Year with MasterCard, for his project Actual Life 3 (January 1 - September 9 2022).

Other artists included on the line-up are Skrillex, NxWorries - Anderson Paak & Knxwledge, Raye, Becky Hill, Mimi Webb, FLO, and Self Esteem. Manchester homegrown rapper Meekz is also on the line-up.

Big name DJs also feature in the announcement, including Carl Cox, Jamie Jones b2b Michael Bibi, Peggy Gou, Honey Dijon, Jon Hopkins, Nia Archives, Andy C, Annie Mac, Eliza Rose, LF System, Honey Dijon, JYOTY, Shygirl, Mall Grab, Fisher, DJ EZ, The Blessed Madonna, and Charlotte De Witte.

Festival organisers have expanded the site to include ten stages across the weekend, with takeovers from brands including Gliterboxx, BBC Radio 1 Dance, DnB All Stars, XXL and more.

Parklife 2023 tickets will go on-sale via presale 10am on February 2 and any final tickets open to the public from 10am on February 3.

A record-breaking 200,000 people have registered for pre-sale tickets. In previous years, ticket types have sold out on-the-day so fans are encouraged to grab their tickets as soon as possible in order to book your place at the festival party of the summer.
