Henley Festival marks its ruby anniversary this year, as it celebrates 40 years of music and art.

Taking place between July 6 and 10 in Henley-on-Thames, Henley Festival 2022 has a host of famous names on its rota including Craig David, Katherine Jenkins and Jo Brand.

On Thursday night (July 7) ex-Prime Minister Theresa May was spotted dancing amongst the crowd at Craig David’s set.

The Conservative MP for Maidenhead sported a red dress as she boogied on an upper balcony.

The ex-Prime Minister danced the night away at the event just hours after Boris Johnson announced his resignation.

Ironically, Henley Festival is held in the constituency Boris Johnson held as an MP from 2001 to 2008.

Alongside the notable music acts, the festival also features a fun fair, firework display and nightclub experience.

On Saturday night, ‘world’s most iconic classical electronic music event’ take to The Floating Stage in the form of Pete Tong’s Ibiza Classics with Symphony Orchestra & Jules Buckley.

Russell Kane will perform his ‘gut-punch funny, searing award-winning’ set at The Comedy Club.

On Sunday, Katherine Jenkins and Jack Savoretti will close out the festival.

Katherine Jenkins will appear on The Floating Stage alongside the National Symphony Orchestra to perform a selection of works from her classical repertoire.

This will then be followed by acclaimed singer songwriter, Jack Savoretti.
