Piers Morgan mocks Meghan Markle and Prince Harry for giving son Archie a 'white middle-class name'
Piers Morgan isn’t one to hold back on letting the world know how he really feels about anything and everything. Now, he’s taken aim at new parents Meghan Markle and Prince Harry for calling their son Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor.
He also claimed that the name isn’t in-keeping with the pair’s calls for diversity within the royal family because it’s “the most popular white middle-class” name.

Taking to Twitter, the controversial Good Morning Britain host wrote: “So the royal couple, in a striking blow for diversity & feminism, have given their son one of the most popular white middle-class first names, Archie.
He didn’t stop there either. According to Morgan, the royal baby’s second name was equally as laughable when it comes to originality.
“[His] second name, Harrison, that was chosen because it stands for 'Harry's son' (I'm serious..). Hilarious,” the 54-year-old added.

When a fellow social media user innocently replied to his tweets saying that they liked the name and that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were “never going to be traditional,” Morgan confessed to liking the name ‘Archie’ but “calling him Harrison 'because he's Harry's son' is just silly.”
Markle and Prince Harry welcomed their first child on Monday 6 May. They elected to spend the first two days as new parents away from the media spotlight before presenting him to the public at Windsor Castle on Wednesday 8 May.
On that same day, they took Archie Harrison to meet his great-grandparents Prince Philip and Queen Elizabeth II.

Talking about the new addition to their family, Markle said: "It's magical, pretty amazing. I mean I have the best two guys in the world. I'm really happy.
“He has the sweetest temperament and he's really calm and been the dream. It's been a special few days."
