Pop star to 'lay his hat' in Blackburn

MAJOR 1980's pop star Paul Young is heading for Blackburn next year.

The singer, who hit the big time with his 1983 debut solo album 'No Parlez', is going on the road in 2023 to coincide with the publication his autobiography.

Mr Young had three number one albums and a string of hit singles including 'Love of the Common People', 'Wherever I Lay My Hat', 'Come Back and Stay', 'Every Time You Go Away' and 'Everything Must Change'.

He will visit Blackburn’s King George’s Hall on Thursday March 23 2023 as part of his nationwide tour called 'Behind The Lens'.

Now, on the 40th anniversary of 'No Parlez', he’s releasing a new record and publishing his memoir both also called 'Behind The Lens'.

On his tour of the UK he’ll meet fans, sing hits and tell stories about his incredible career.

Mr Young said: “I’m looking forward to touring next year as the fans go Behind The Lens.”
