Among the food and drink stalls was A&M Cocktails, from London.

Co-owner Murray Alexander said: “It’s been nice, everyone’s been friendly and it’s been good weather.

“It’s good to be back here for the first time since Covid.

“This is the best one I’ve done in Oxford and the good weather has helped.”

Calvin Irvine, of Brighton’s woodfired pizza stall 800 Degrees, added: “It’s been alright, not bad but not brilliant.

“It’s our first time here and it’s been a good atmosphere, it’s been good eating weather.”

Hifza Aubid, from Bakistry Ltd in Slough, said: “This is our first year doing it in Oxford, and the seventh or eighth festival this year.

“It’s been alright, we’re doing artisan gelato so can’t lower the prices and it’s been a bit of whatever happens, happens situation.

“People have been very good and are having a good time.”
