The Hydra reveal three-day August bank holiday line-up at Printworks: How to get tickets

The Hydra has revealed the line-up for its bank holiday weekender at Printworks this August.

The three-day event, running from August 23-25, will combine live acts with DJ sets across 26 hours of music.

German composer Nils Frahm will kick things off on the Friday, supported by Tom Middleton of Global Communication, who will be performing an interpretation of the duo’s seminal 1994 ambient work, 76:14.

On Saturday, there will be sets from Detroit legends Jeff Mills and Juan Atkins, who will play live as part of his alias-turned-group, Model 500. Helena Hauff will bring a typically punishing set, while Ben Klock, Terrence Dixon and Mor Elian complete the line-up in the main Press Halls area. Move D will lead the way in the smaller Dark Room.

On Sunday, both DāM-FunK and Larry Heard will perform live — the latter making his only London appearance of the year — while Carl Craig, Moodymann, Theo Parrish and Dolan Bergin will all take to the decks. In the Dark Room, London jazz favourite Joe Armon-Jones will play with Lefto, among other sets.
