Prince George and Princess Charlotte will attend the Queen’s state funeral, the order of service has shown.

The nine-year-old future king and his seven-year-old sister will gather with 2,000 people in Westminster Abbey to remember their late great-grandmother on Monday, as millions watch the televised service across the globe.

Yahoo News UK looks at some of the other members of the royal family who could be at the service.

Charles and Camilla

Though not yet formally crowned, Charles automatically became king when his mother died, and will be in attendance at her funeral with his wife Camilla, now Queen Consort.

Charles was the longest serving heir to the throne and as the Prince of Wales carried out thousands of engagements and extensive charity work.

Following the death of his first wife, Diana, Charles married Camilla in 2005 and she gradually became more public with her work. She will remain a support to him and will pursue her own royal projects.

William and Kate, now the Prince and Princess of Wales, will be attending. While their three children have been accompanying their parents on more engagements recently, they have not taken part in any of the mourning period so far. Kate has been reported as saying Prince George, their eldest, "understands the loss" of the Queen, but that the younger two have less understanding of their great-grandmother's death.

It now appears that George and Charlotte will walk behind the late Queen’s coffin as it is carried into Westminster Abbey for her funeral.

The duke and duchess can expect a new duchy in the coming weeks. William, now as heir to the throne, will inherit the Duchy of Cornwall from his father.

The duchy provides an income for the heir to the throne, and William will have a huge new responsibility in looking after the portfolio.

William and Kate’s children all now move up in the order of succession, with George becoming second in line, Charlotte third and Louis fourth.

The Sussexes

Prince Harry and Meghan will be attending the funeral of his beloved grandmother.

Harry has always made it clear that he has a great respect and admiration for his grandmother. He has already taken part in the procession of the Queen's coffin from Buckingham Palace to Westminster Hall, where the lying-in-state is taking place. This was something his brother, Prince William, said "brought back a few memories" of their mother's funeral in 1997, when the two famously took part in the procession, despite their young age.

Harry had to attend his grandfather's funeral without Meghan or Archie, because she was too pregnant to fly at the time, as they awaited the arrival of their daughter.

He also had to spend much of the time in isolation before the funeral because of the coronavirus restrictions at the time.

The Princess Royal, the Queen’s only daughter, will be in attendance, paying tribute to her mother on whom she likely modelled her working life.

Anne has regularly been one of the hardest working royals, frequently clocking up hundreds of engagements each year.

She is also the first female member to join the Vigil of the Princes while her mother’s body lies in state at Westminster Hall.

The vigil, which started as tradition after George V’s death, had previously only been carried out by male members of the family. But as the Queen has four children, Anne set a new tradition in joining them.

Anne will be accompanied by her husband, Vice Admiral Sir Timothy Laurence.

Prince Andrew

Prince Andrew, the Queen’s second oldest son, has largely been out of sight since he stepped back indefinitely from royal duties, over the fallout of his friendship with Jeffrey Epstein, in 2019.

Andrew was a frequent visitor to Epstein’s New York home and allegations were levelled against Andrew by one of the women who claimed to be a victim.

The Duke of York denied all allegations and no charges were brought against him. A multi-million pound settlement was reached with Virginia Giuffre out of court earlier this year. After which a statement was released which included that "Prince Andrew regrets his association with Epstein and commends the bravery of Ms. Giuffre and other survivors."

Andrew has been - and will surely continue to be - absent from most royal events, but the Queen's funeral and other mourning ceremonies are an exception to this. Equally, he was present at his father's funeral in April 2021, even making comments to news broadcasters in the days after Prince Philip's death.

The Wessexes

Prince Edward and his wife Sophie, the Countess of Wessex, will be in attendance with their children, Louise and James.

The family was particularly close to the Queen, and their close proximity to Windsor Castle meant they were able to see her frequently.

Edward and Sophie started life as working royals in 2002, during the Queen’s jubilee year. They increasingly came to the forefront of the family when Andrew had to step back and Harry and Meghan moved to the US.

Their children are unlikely to take on royal duties but they will be regulars at royal events, including the funeral.

Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, and Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank

The children of Prince Andrew and their husbands will also attend the funeral, though it’s not as clear if their mother will be there - though some reports indicate she has been invited.

Beatrice is married to property developer Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, who she wed in a secret ceremony during the coronavirus pandemic. He has a son, Wulfie, who is unlikely to attend.

They have a young child of their own, Sienna, whose attendance is less likely given her age.

Eugenie is married to tequila brand ambassador Jack Brooksbank. They married in a grand ceremony in Windsor in October 2018.

Eugenie and Jack have one son, August Brooksbank, but he will probably stay at home for the funeral.

Neither of the York sisters carries out royal duties, but do have private charities of which they are patrons.

The Queen lent Beatrice one of her dresses for her wedding, a sign of how close she was to them and the support she gave them.

The Phillips family

Peter Phillips, Anne’s son and the Queen's eldest grandchild, will be in attendance. He is divorced, but his former wife Autumn Phillips may well accompany him.

They have two daughters, Savannah and Isla Phillips. It's not known if they could be considered too young for the event, however their younger cousins — the Cambridge children — could be there.

He had to attend his grandfather's funeral alone because of coronavirus restrictions in place in April 2021. However the changes since then could allow a wider family gathering.

Phillips and his family don't have royal titles, but retain places in the line of succession.

Princess Anne’s daughter, Zara Tindall, and her husband, Mike Tindall, will be at the funeral.

They have three children, two daughters, called Mia and Lena, and one son, Lucas.

The couple don't have royal titles but they are still a part of the Royal Family and are seen at events like Trooping the Colour.

Zara was close to her grandmother as they shared a love of horses and equestrian sport.

She was also close to her grandfather, Prince Philip, and she and her husband attended his funeral but without their children.

The Viscount Linley

David Armstrong-Jones, the Viscount Linley, is the son of Princess Margaret, the Queen’s younger sister. The 2nd Earl of Snowden also took part in the procession of his beloved aunt's coffin from Buckingham Palace to Westminster Hall.

He is divorced from his wife, Serena, the Viscountess Linley, but the length of their marriage prior to that could indicate she will still attend the Queen’s funeral.

They were both present at the Queen Mother’s funeral in 2002.

They have two children, Charles and Margarita, who may also attend the funeral. The family have been regulars at the Queen’s Christmas lunch which she hosts at Buckingham Palace.

Lady Sarah is the daughter of the late Princess Margaret. She is married to actor Daniel Chatto.

They both attended the funeral of the Queen Mother in 2002. Sarah stood amongst other members of the royal family in Westminster Hall during a short service that took place after the procession.

They have two children, Arthur and Samuel, and as the Queen’s great nephews, they are likely to be at the funeral, and considered an important part of the family.

Their youngest son, Arthur, was a page of honour for the Queen for six years, meaning he held a position in state occasions, carrying the train of her dress. Arthur has already paid his respects appearing alongside his mother at Westminster Hall.

The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester

The Queen’s cousin, the Duke of Gloucester, and his wife, will be in attendance. They have been working royals for decades, having come to their roles suddenly when the duke’s older brother died.

They represent hundreds of charities and carry out numerous engagements throughout the years.

They are likely to continue supporting King Charles III in his new role, and they will be at the funeral to pay their respects to the Queen.

They have three children — Alexander Windsor, Lady Davina Windsor, and Lady Rose Gilman.

Alexander, who is the Earl of Ulster, has three children, while Lady Davina and Lady Rose have two each.

The Duke and Duchess of Kent

Prince Edward, the Duke of Kent is another of the Queen’s cousins, and he and his wife Katharine, the Duchess of Kent, will attend.

Edward carries out royal duties and may continue his supportive work with Charles on the throne.

Katherine has been out of the public eye for many years, having decided to retire from royal duties in 2002, and stop using her HRH style.

She became a music teacher at a school in Hull, where she was simply Mrs Kent.

They have three living children and 10 grandchildren, some of whom may be in attendance at the funeral.

Their children are George Windsor, Lady Helen Taylor and Lord Nicholas Windsor. The duchess had a stillborn son in 1977 called Patrick.

Another of the Queen’s cousins, Princess Alexandra, is a working royal who will attend the funeral.

She was widowed in 2004, after being married to Sir Angus Ogilvy for more than 40 years. They had two children, Marina and James, who could accompany their mother on the important occasion.

Marina was married to Paul Mowatt and they have two children Zenouska and Christian. James is married to Julia Ogilvy and they have two children too, Flora and Alexander.

Princess Anne was Alexandra’s chief bridesmaid when she married Sir Angus, demonstrating a close bond between the cousins.

Prince Michael is another cousin of the Queen, and he and his wife Princess Michael of Kent have been regular attendees at royal events, but they don’t carry out engagements.

They live in an apartment in Kensington Palace, which the Queen paid their rent on for some time, after outrage that they were living there for free.

The couple has two children - Lord Frederick Windsor and Lady Gabriella Kingston. Lord Frederick is married to Sophie Winkleman, and Lady Gabriella is married to Thomas Kingston.

Their children are likely to join them at the funeral.

Alexander Windsor is the only son of the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester. The Duke is a cousin of the Queen.

He is married to Claire Booth and they are known as the Earl and Countess of Ulster.

They have two children, a son called Xan and a daughter called Cosima, who have been on the balcony for Trooping the Colour but might be too young to attend the state funeral.

The Earl has a military background but now works in non-governmental roles.

The Duke and Duchess of Kent’s three children are all likely to attend the funeral. As non-working royals, they are regular attendees at events like Trooping the Colour.

Lady Amelia Windsor is the most recognised of the three children, thanks to her career as a model.

Lady Marina and Edward Windsor, Lord Downpatrick have both forfeited their places in the line of succession as they were confirmed in the Roman Catholic Church.

Lady Marina also has a modelling past, while Edward is a fashion designer.

None of them were able to attend the funeral of Prince Philip in April 2021 because of the coronavirus restrictions.

Only 30 mourners were at the Duke of Edinburgh's funeral and it was mostly limited to his children and grandchildren. It is likely on this occasion that they will be in attendance.

The son of Prince and Princess Michael of Kent, Lord Frederick Windsor, is likely to attend with his wife, Sophie Winkleman.

They are regulars at royal events like weddings and the annual Christmas lunch.

However while their children attend celebratory engagements, they might be deemed too young for the funeral. Their daughter Maud was a bridesmaid for Princess Eugenie in 2018.
