This week, the name Elizabeth hit the headlines around the world, as Meghan and Harry named their daughter ‘Lilibet’ - a private family name for Queen Elizabeth II.
Lilibet Diana Mountbatten-Windsor was named after a name the Queen gave herself when she was too young to pronounce her own.
But Britain’s longest-reigning monarch is far from the only Elizabeth out there, with various Lizzes, Elizabeths and Betties having conquered the worlds of music and film.
