The world is full of huge cities packed with millions of people - but which ones are the biggest?
According to the United Nations 2018 estimates, there are 81 cities around the world with a population of more than five million people.
The UN uses a mixture of different city definitions, from metropolitan areas and urban areas to ‘city proper’ to compile.
We’ve taken the top 20 from the list to see if you can name the most populous cities in the world.
Some cities like Jakarta and Seoul have been excluded from UN data so they’re not on this list, but we’re pretty sure you’ll be able to get most of them when you think about the biggest, most heavily-populated places in the globe.
