Robbie Williams shows off completely bald new look after wife Ayda Field shaves his head

Robbie Williams has revealed a dramatic new look after his wife Ayda Field shaved all his hair off for him.

Many people baked banana bread to survive the lockdown, but there were some of us who became temporary hairdressers to the family when the professionals weren't available, and clearly this is the case in the Williams-Field household.

In the Instagram video, the former Take That star is seen with his hair looking quite long and in need of a trim, so Ayda got the hair clippers out and sheared off the lot.

Robbie recently surprised everyone with the announcement that his life story is going to hit the big screen.

The "fantastical" biopic, which will be titled Better Man, will have The Greatest Showman director Michael Gracey at the helm, and Robbie himself will be appearing as a CGI monkey. Yes, really.

The director revealed how Robbie's songs will be presented in the movie: "All Robbie's songs will be re-sung, for the emotion of the moment.

"If in his life he's in the depths of despair, he's not going to sing a song as cabaret flamboyant showmanship – it's going to be broken, acapella, stripped down, because that's where he is emotionally.

"In moments of pure joy, you'll get songs sung in this whirlwind of hysteria. So essentially every song in the film, Robbie will sing, but it will be performed for the emotion of that moment, and that scene."
