Yahoo News Sabrina the Teenage Witch is back! First-look at Kiernan Shipka and Ross Lynch in Netflix reboot
The first image of Netflix’s Sabrina the Teenage Witch reboot has been released.
The show’s writer Roberto Aguiire-Sacasa posted a picture of stars Kiernan Shipka and Ross Lynch in character as Sabrina and Harvey.
Aguiire-Sacasa captioned the snap: “Well, it’s out there. A 1st look at Harvey and Sabrina from the “chilling Adventures of #Sabrina.” ADORBS, right?”
The reboot is called The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina and is a spin-off of Netflix series Riverdale which are both based on characters from Archie Comics series.

It will reportedly be darker than the original as half witch, half-human Sabrina struggles to get to grips with her powers.
Netflix described the character as “empowered young woman, half-human, half-witch, Sabrina is just beginning her dark education as a sorceress, even as she tries to maintain a normal life as a sophomore at Baxter High”.
Michelle Gomez (Doctor Who) will play the series’ villain Mary Wardell, Sabrina’s favourite teacher who becomes possessed by the devil’s handmaiden Madam Satan and Miranda Otto will play Aunt Zelda.
The streaming service has ordered two series of 10 episodes, each running at an hour long.
The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina is expected to arrive on Netflix in 2019.
