Sarah Jessica Parker has admitted that she has not spoken to her former Sex And The City co-star Chris Noth since he was accused of sexually assaulting multiple women.

The allegations came shortly after SATC reboot series And Just Like That... premiered in December.

Two women accused the 67-year-old of historic sexual assault in an article published by The Hollywood Reporter, prompting another two alleged victims to come forward.

Parker, who played Noth’s on-screen love interest in the shows, was asked in an interview with the same publication how she reacted to the claims as a producer of the series.

The 57-year-old said: "I don’t even know if I’m ready to talk about it, but I don’t think... I wasn’t reacting as a producer. I should have worked on this [a response] because I’m just... it’s just...”

When asked directly if she had spoken to him since, she simply replied “No”.

Parker and her co-stars Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis issued a joint statement on social media in support of the women after the allegations hit the headline.

It read:"We are deeply saddened to hear the allegations against Chris Noth. We support the women who have come forward and shared their painful experiences.

“We know it must be a very difficult thing to do and we commend them for it.”

Noth has strongly denied any wrong-doing, insisting that the “encounters were consensual” and called the claims “categorically false”.

The actor appeared in the first episode of And Just Like That… where his character Mr Big was killed off.

A further appearance in the series had been planned, but was swiftly scrapped following the allegations.

He was also dropped from an advert for exercise bike Peloton featuring the character.
