Yahoo News Save Me Too's Lennie James discusses the "difficulty" he faced with season 2
Save Me Too star Lennie James has recalled which aspect of filming the crime drama's second season he found the most challenging.
Fresh off the show's BAFTA TV win on Sunday (June 6), the Fear the Walking Dead actor insisted "it wasn't hugely difficult" to write a follow-up and consequently return to play Nelly Rowe again, as he'd already worked out where he wanted to go with the character while they were filming the original outing.
He admitted it was tough to not let the expectations set by its critically acclaimed first chapter to psych him out.

"The difficulty was in shutting out all the noise about Save Me and trusting in the new story... Not making changes based on what was popular or not popular in the first one," James told Digital Spy and other press and other press at the TV BAFTAs.
The Fear The Walking Dead star described being able to imagine his co-stars Stephen Graham, Jason Flemyng, Adrian Edmondson and Suranne Jones in their respective roles during Save Me Too's early development stages as "a gift".

"To know what the characters actually sound like, and what they look like, and where they're not just figments of my imagination and that they were fully rounded by the fantastic cast that we had, it was a dream," he added.
