Famous contestants will be given a spectacular makeover and then be coached into mastering a drag discipline, choosing from singing, dancing, lip syncing, impression, comedy or dragic (drag magic).

Gregson will take part as Bidet Bardot and will be mentored in comedy by Myra DuBois, while Mr Motivator will perform lip syncing as Proteina Turner, mentored by Asttina Mandella.

Corrie actor Gregson said: "It’s very, very nerve wracking. First time on stage, first time I’m going to be doing what I’m going to be doing. The nerves are riding high. It’s a new territory for me, so we will see how I get on."

Scott-Claus said: “I’m so excited to be partnered with Adam. I’m going to show him the ropes, I’m going to be his stage mother. My advice will be to get on stage, get your heels on and make me laugh!”

Other celebrities taking part include Love Island's Chris Hughes who will be dancing as Orla Feelz under the tuition of Margo Marshall; rugby star Joe Marler who will be getting a lesson in dragic from Blu Hydrangea and will transform into Trixie Turnover; and popstar George Shelley who will sing as Dame Shelley Sassy, coached by La Voix.

Drag superfan Lorraine Kelly is hosting the contest, and she will be joined by an all-star judging panel made up of Spice Girl and pop icon Mel C, comedian Rob Beckett, world famous drag artist Courtney Act, and star of Bad Education and West End hit Everybody's Talking About Jamie Layton Williams.

Queens for the Night airs on Saturday, 5 November at 8.30pm on ITV.
