GB News' Simon McCoy engaged to 'Dynasty' star Emma Samms

GB News host Simon McCoy has revealed that he has got engaged to Dynasty star Emma Samms.

The former BBC presenter said the pair are “so happy” and suggested that they are planning to walk down the aisle next year.

He confirmed the news to the Daily Mail, saying: “Yes, it's true. We are both so happy, as are our children.

“We shall celebrate in the spring, when it's safe to share a party.”

The marriage will be McCoy’s third.

The 59-year-old welcomed a son named Max with his first wife in 1993, then in 2007 tied the knot with BBC South West presenter Victoria Graham.

They went their separate ways in 2019 and McCoy later started dating Samms.

The actor, 61, is known for playing Fallon Carrington in 80s hit Dynasty, and also starred in the US soap General Hospital.

Samms has been married three times – to Bansi Nagji from 1991 to 1992, to Tim Dillon from 1994 to 1995 and to John Holloway from 1996 to 2003. She has two children from her relationship with Holloway.

Earlier this year, the actor praised McCoy as she said he had been “absolutely amazing” in the way he helped her to deal with the long-term effects of COVID.

The star, who contracted the virus in March 2020, told Hello! magazine: "Simon has been absolutely amazing, taking me to the hospital and waiting outside for hours, and just doing as much as he possibly could to help.

"He's given me emotional support, too; I'll never be able to thank him enough for his kindness."
