Yahoo News Late singer Christina Grimmie's mum passes away
Tributes are pouring in on social media following the death of Christina Grimmie's mum, Tina.
The news was announced on the late singer's official Instagram account, confirming that Tina had lost her battle with breast cancer just two years after her daughter was shot dead while meeting fans after a gig in Florida.

In the statement, the Grimmie family said: "We are saddened to announce the loss of our beloved Tina, also affectionately known as 'Mama Grimmie' to the millions of fans of Christina Grimmie around the world. She will be missed immensely.
"Tina fought a courageous and brave battle with cancer for many years, even until her final hours with family by her side.
"While this is a bittersweet moment for us as a family, particularly after losing Christina two years ago, we rejoice at the thought that Tina and Christina are united once again in the presence of our Lord and Savior."
After reading the sad news, fans have posted messages of condolence to the Grimmie family in the comments section, which include: "Sending allllll my prayers to the grimmie family, Christina and Tina are together again in peace" and "Heaven welcomed again a new angel. Fly high Tina you'll be missed".
Another said: "This is such a tragedy for the family and friends to loose such beautiful beloved angels in such a short amount of time. I am very sad and sending prayers and strength to you all."
Maroon 5 singer Adam Levine helped to pay for Christina's funeral back in 2016 after being Grimmie's coach on The Voice US. A flurry of musicians also paid their respects to the star, who was just 22-years-old when she was shot while signing autographs for fans in Florida.
