Soap drama, 'Strictly' and 'Ridley Road': The best TV this weekend, 22-24 October
Super soaps week on ITV has seen no end of drama in both Emmerdale and Coronation Street - and with storylines reaching their conclusions on Friday, the shocks aren't over just yet.
On Saturday, we're back in the BBC One Strictly ballroom for more sensational routines, and Casualty has a special episode following just the paramedics.

Rounding out the weekend on Sunday, acclaimed drama Ridley Road airs its final episode on BBC One, and in Channel 4's Joe Lycett vs the Oil Giant the comedian takes on Shell.

Emmerdale - ITV - 7pm
The survival event of nightmares reaches its terrifying conclusion with lives changed forever...for those who are still around.
Who will have paid the ultimate price, and will Meena finally have been caught?
Coronation Street - ITV - 7.30pm and 8.30pm
The drama has seen more threads but no less intensity on the cobbles, with Johnny trying bravely to save Jenny in tonight's first episode.
In the second instalment, Shona tries to rescue the Connors, Nick makes a shocking discovery, and Kevin finds out what has happened to Abi.
Zappa - BBC Four - 9pm
If you're not so into soaps, this film-length documentary about Frank Zappa provides a weighty alternative.
With unprecedented access to the musician's unreleased music and movies, unseen interviews and unheard concert footage, it curates his artistic and political life that was in danger of being lost forever.
Saturday
Strictly Come Dancing - BBC One - 7.15pm
The celebrity dance contest heads into week five, but with Judi Love on the bench after a positive COVID test, she won't be taking up what was becoming her regular slot in the dance off.

It leaves the competition even more wide open this weekend in one of the closest contests there's been in years.
Casualty - BBC One - 9.30pm
A special episode follows just the hospital's paramedics, rather than sticking inside the A&E department.
It gives a snapshot of the many situations real paramedics face each shift, with one woman having lain dead for months, and a man who's had a long wait for an ambulance to be free in the pressured service.
Sunday
Ridley Road - BBC One - 9pm
The acclaimed period drama about the 62 Group and their work fighting fascism in Sixties London draws to a close tonight.
Pressures and risks are mounting for both Jack and Vivien, but while he wants to run while they still can, she wants to stick things out to the end.
Joe Lycett vs the Oil Giant - ITV - 9pm
Comedian Joe Lycett has turned into something of a consumer champion of late, and tonight he tackles his biggest battle yet - with Shell.
He questions whether their eco-friendly marketing really rings true as the Cop26 conference looms in the coming weeks.
