Stephen Bear: Celebrity Big Brother winner Stephen Bear charged over revenge porn allegations, police say

Reality TV star Stephen Bear has been charged in connection with revenge porn allegations, Essex Police has said.

The 31-year-old former Celebrity Big Brother winner was arrested at Heathrow Airport earlier this year while arriving back from Dubai, but was later released on bail.

Bear, who has appeared in a raft of reality shows, has now been charged with voyeurism, disclosing private, sexual photographs and films with intent to cause distress, and harassment without violence, Essex Police has said.

He has previously denied the allegations, calling them "silly".

Bear, who lives in Loughton, Essex, will appear at Colchester Magistrates' Court on 2 July.

He started his reality career in 2011 when he appeared on the cult survival show Shipwrecked: The Island on Channel 4, and since has appeared on MTV's Ex On The Beach and Just Tattoo Of Us and E4's Celebs Go Dating, where he struck up a romance with Geordie Shore star Charlotte Crosby.

He entered the Celebrity Big Brother house in 2016 on day one of the competition, but just a week in he was reprimanded for unacceptable behaviour.

After that, he was told he would face every single eviction vote for the remainder of the series, yet walked out the winner on day 30.

In 2017 he wrote a book called Bear's Necessities: A Simple Guide To Life, in which he reveals how to become a reality TV star or end up in magazines like Hello and OK!
