Stormzy supporting 30 Black students at Cambridge University

Stormzy is supporting 30 Black students at Cambridge University with a £20,000 annual scholarship funded by his #Merky Foundation charity and HSBC. The fund covers tuition fees and maintenance costs for 10 new students each year over the next 3 years. The British rapper described the initiative as an “incredible milestone”. His original “Stormzy Scholarship” scheme first launched in 2018 and supported 6 Black students at Cambridge. The number of Black students admitted into the university has risen in what has been dubbed the ‘Stormzy effect.’.
