Netflix’s Stranger Things star Noah Schnapp has revealed that he spoke with Love Island winner Ekin-Su Cülcüloglu.

The 17-year-old actor was on Instagram Live revealing the communication to co-star Millie Bobby Brown after he recently spilt the beans on his DMs with musician Doja Cat.

Schnapp plays Will Byers, the son to Winona Ryder’s character in Stranger Things, whilst Bobby Brown stars as the powerful El.

During the Instagram Live, he tells Bobby Brown: “I DM’d Ekin-Su and she answered me.”

He goes on to reveal that the Love Island star also video called him back, to which Bobby Brown responded excitedly with an impersonation of Ekin-Su’s partner, Davide Sanclimenti’s “liar!”.

The clip of the Instagram Live exchange has gone viral on Twitter with the shock crossover between shows.

One fan commented: “This crossover is EVERYTHING.”

Schnapp has reached out to former Islanders before, having DM’d Lucinda Strafford after the winter series of the love game show.

Strafford has told On Demand Entertainment previously that Schnapp did send her an Instagram DM.

She said: “He messaged me being like, “oh my god, I love you so much, you killed it”, and I was like “Thank you”, and he goes, “I love you!”.”

Then in 2018, the 17-year-old had commented on Ellie Brown’s Instagram, saying how he and Bobby Brown are big fans of the show and watch it together.

Recently, Schnapp also commented a simple “hi” under Jacques O’Neill’s Instagram, to which the Islander replied, “Hi Noah”.
