Strictly’s Giovanni Pernice and Jowita Pryzstal are ‘secretly dating’

Strictly Come Dancing pros Jowita Pryzstal and Giovanni Pernice are said to have revealed their new romance to friends at a birthday bash.

The couple, who was reportedly caught backstage at Strictly kissing, kept their relationship a secret for weeks.

But they apparently couldn’t stop flirting with each other at a birthday party for Pernice’s Chelsea footballer pal, Jorghino.

“She and Gio are the worst kept secret, but make a great couple,” a source told the Sun.

“While they both kept insisting they were single, the pair’s chemistry was ridiculous and they kept getting busted snogging in corridors.”

The source added that Prysztal wanted to keep their romance out of the spotlight so she could focus on Yassin.

She is also said to have not wanted their relationship to distract from the competition.

Rumours about their romance started after they danced together and showed off their chemistry at the start of the show in October.

New Strictly pro Prysztal, 28, won the competition at the weekend with wildlife photographer Hamza Yassin.

Pernice took home the Glitterball trophy last year, with actress Rose Ayling-Ellis.

In 2015 he had a relationship with his first celeb partner Georgia May Foote after they finished as runners up.

However, within a year they split.

Foote was dating her Coronation Street co-star Sean Ward when their relationship fell apart under the infamous "Strictly curse".

Pernice also dated contestant Ashley Roberts in 2019 for a year.
