Strictly Come Dancing star Shirley Ballas has revealed she has undergone a non-surgical facelift as she was feeling self-conscious.

The 62-year-old head judge and former dance champion said she is thrilled with the results of the cosmetic procedures she has undergone over the past year to tighten sagging skin and remove age spots and spider veins.

Ballas confessed in a video on YouTube: "This time last year I was conscious that my jawline was sagging and hanging a bit, my skin looked dull and a bit lifeless and I wanted to get rid of all my spider veins and tighten up the skin on my neck and chest.

"I didn't really want to go under the knife so I thought I would use this alternative route."

The TV star underwent a series of nitrogen plasma treatments which stimulated collagen in her skin.

She went on: "My jawline feels just that much sharper I feel like the skin is not sagging, it feels rejuvenated, it feels bright and clean, no little veins going on, no sun spots, all in all a really spectacular look.

"I was a bit apprehensive at the start but I'm thrilled to bits with the results.

"Every woman in her 60s wants to feel confident, and I have to say at age 62, I now feel by far the best I've ever felt."

Ballas underwent a cancer scare in 2021 after finding a lump under her arm in September, just months after she discovered another lump in her shoulder.

The Strictly judge was delighted to be told she was cancer free in November 2021.
