We have been given our first look at the upcoming Strike Back revival.

It was revealed back in December that the action series was returning to TV with a reboot greenlit by both Cinemax and Sky, and shooting has now begun on the sixth run.

The series boasts a new cast line-up, with Section 20 now made up of Warren Brown, Daniel MacPherson, Roxanne McKee and Alin Sumarwata, who you can check out below.

Strike Back has also added Class star Katherine Kelly to its cast, alongside Nina Sosanya and Waking the Dead's Trevor Eve.

The 10-episode series will be shot on location in Jordan and Hungary and follows the revived Section 20 team as they track down a notorious terrorist following a brutal prison break.

As they embark on a lethal manhunt across the Middle East and Europe, the team uncover a deadly conspiracy that threatens to change the face of modern warfare forever.

Last month, Philip Winchester – who played Strike Back hero Michael Stonebridge – gave his backing to the reboot and reckoned he and Damien Scott (Sullivan Stapleton) could be back.

"Look, we're busy right now so we couldn't do it. There was no world in which we could've done it, unless we weren't working – and even then, I don't think it would've worked, because they just wanted to do something new," he explained.

"It needs fresh blood, man. Let 'em get banged and bruised and beat up for a while – then maybe we can come in and save the day!"
