Yahoo News Thor: Ragnarok features a random reality TV star
A contestant from The Bachelorette Australia will appear in the forthcoming Marvel movie Thor: Ragnarok.
Apollo Jackson appeared on this season's The Bachelorette, which is still airing, and stars Sophie Monk as the lady looking for love.
The bodybuilder is still in the running to win Sophie's heart and has secured a place in the final five, but it seems he has an even bigger project on hand with a Ragnarok role.
The 24-year-old was asked to appear as a body double for Mark Ruffalo's character The Hulk, due to his uber muscular frame.
And, since his appearance on set, the actor has spoke of his awe working alongside his 'role model' Chris Hemsworth, who plays Thor in the movie and is also Australian.
"I got the opportunity to do a scene with Chris Hemsworth and he was just a fun, down-to-earth guy, who is so normal and humble," Apollo told Australia's Gold Coast Bulletin.
"He's definitely a role model I look up to in the industry.
