Unseen photos of Emma Watson on The Perks of Being a Wallflower set shared by Logan Lerman

Prepare for a nostalgia trip, as The Perks of Being a Wallflower star Logan Lerman has shared a number of behind the scenes photos from the cult 2012 film.

He revealed they were “taken on a disposable camera during the graduation sequence” and featured his co-stars Emma Watson, Mae Whitman and Ezra Miller.

Lerman, who played the lead character in the film, shared a gallery of the black and white pictures to Instagram.

He explained, “They were taken on a disposable camera during the graduation sequence with the intention to use them for production design but now they serve as tokens from a very special experience.”

In the first slide, Watson was seen dressed in her graduation outfit with a corsage tied around her wrist - cheekily sticking her tongue out at the camera.

She was also seen in other pictures standing with her onscreen boyfriend Reece Thompson and in another, she was captured standing off to the side with her arms folded over her chest.

In another, Lerman was also seen taking a selfie with a grin on his face. He also was seen gleefully holding up what appeared to be Watson’s corsage for the camera.

Mae Whitman was also seen dressed up with a corsage on her wrist, as she appeared to be waiting for a scene to begin.

Whitman, who played Lerman’s love interest in the film, was also seen flashing a wink for the camera as she climbed up a staircase.

The Flash star Ezra MIller was also seen staring down the camera.

The Perks of Being a Wallflower was released in 2012 and was based on a book by novelist Stephen Chbosky, whose work became a cult phenomenon amongst young adults.

It was also notable as one of Watson’s first forays into cinema beyond her Harry Potter character Hermione Granger and she revealed how Chbosky was able to convince her to take on the role.

“At our initial meeting, he said, 'OK, not only is this going to be one of the most important parts you play, you're also going to have the summer of your life and meet some of your best friends.' I thought, 'That's quite a claim. Who is this guy?' Everything he said came true,” she told Entertainment Weekly.

She explained, "I started as Emma with some Hermione still left in my system. I went through the tunnel and I came out ready to start something new.”

She and Chbosky have since gone on to continue working with each other, as Chbosky also penned the script for her live action Disney adaptation of Beauty and the Beast.
