Premiering on January 4, "The Challenger" sees The Big Three – Kate (Chrissy Metz), Kevin (Justin Hartley) and Randall (Sterling K Brown) – celebrate their 41st birthday, five years after the birthday that kicked off the show in 2016.
Episode two, "Lovebirds," will focus on Nicky (Griffin Dune), Rebecca (Mandy Moore) and Miguel (Jon Huertas) as they go on a road trip.
The featurette captures the reactions of the main cast to the show ending for good next year.
