Many will agree that Voice UK finalist Leah McFall should've been a bigger success than she actually was after coming off the talent show back in 2013.

Coached by will.i.am on the BBC One singing contest, the star earned herself a major label deal with Capitol Records.

But after her debut single 'Home' stalled at No.56 in the UK chart back in 2014, her first album Weird To Wonderful was cancelled completely. It was a massive shame.

However, two years later and Leah McFall is back with a brand new sound, and one that suits her distinctive tone so much better.

'Wolf Den' is a glitchy, R&B number that allows her angelic vocal trickle throughout. It feels so much more in line with what she should've been doing as an artist immediately after The Voice.

"After two years the chains have broken and ropes untied, it is time for me to start singing that sweet faith," Leah tweeted.

She added on YouTube: "This song belongs to no one but you, my loyal friends and supporters. We'll reach the world & go on an uncharted path together."

What's more, Leah has released the new song completely independently under her own name.

The singer has yet to reveal further details about that long-awaited debut album, but if more of the same it yet to come, consider us excited.

Earlier this year, will.i.am revealed that he got in trouble with the BBC after working with Leah and taking her to LA.
