Yahoo News Walking Dead episode 14 clip reveals how Jadis survived
Poor Jadis.
A few episodes ago on The Walking Dead, the Scavengers leader saw her all of her people gunned down by the Saviors – on orders from Simon. But how did Jadis, played by Pollyanna McIntosh and with the Saviors surrounding her, escape with her life?
The preview clip above from season 8 episode 14 provides the answers, and it's not because Simon decided to let her live as you may have been led to believe.
In a flashback to that massacre, Jadis runs through the scrapyard and finds the perfect opportunity to play dead in a pool of somebody else's blood. It fools a chasing Scavenger, who spits on her and utters: "Shouldn't have played, lady. Not your game."
(Okay, so it doesn't quite explain how she found the opportunity to flee. But still.)
The scene then transitions into what appears to be the present day, as Jadis enters a clean room in possession of Negan's prized possession Lucille.

Now that Negan knows Simon went against his orders, it will be interesting to see how Jadis and Negan interact in this week's episode.
Titled 'Still Gotta Mean Something', the episode will also feature Rick, Morgan, and Carol going after the escaping prisoners and Daryl and Rosita plotting to stop Eugene from manufacturing more ammo for Negan's Saviors.
The Walking Dead airs on AMC in the US and on FOX and NOW TV in the UK.
