A new video has been released to take viewers behind the scenes of George Michael‘s iconic ‘Fastlove’ video. You can watch it exclusively below on Rolling Stone UK.

The track arrived in 1996 as the second single from Michael’s third solo album Older and came accompanied by one of the most memorable videos of his solo career. The futuristic clip featured an array of otherworldly, androgynous dancers and famously concluded with the moment when Michael danced fully clothed as a heavy shower rained down around him.

Now, the new BTS video allows viewers to take a brief look at the clip’s inception, offering a glimpse at the wide array of camera takes, angles and technical know-how that contributed to its creation.

It comes as a new box-set of Older flies high in the charts following its release last Friday (September 30).

Sony Music and George Michael Entertainment have released Older as a new box-set, which includes the album, newly mastered from original tapes and pressed on 180gsm vinyl across 2LPs for superior audio quality with expanded artwork.

The set also includes ‘Upper’ for the first time ever on vinyl, as well as ‘Older’ and ‘Upper’ on CD. Presented in a rigid double slipcase, this package contains 5 CDs and 3 LPs. Also included is a 12” x 12” 48-page book, The Story of Older, featuring a brand-new essay by Dan Davies recounting the stories behind the album with contributions from key people who helped make the record, plus rare and previously unseen photos. The set also includes 3 12” x 12” collectable art prints of George.

Upon release in 1996, Older produced six top 3 singles in the UK and hit number one, where it remained for three consecutive weeks, spending 35 weeks in the top 10 overall. The album was a huge global commercial success, going 6x platinum in the UK, as well as verified platinum in another 22 countries.
