Wynonna Earp spoilers follow.

Wynonna Earp boss Emily Andras and the show's cast have opened up about its "beautiful" and "perfect" finale.

The Syfy series came to an end on Friday night (April 9) after four seasons on air.

After fighting off a haunted wedding gown, Waverly (Dominique Provost-Chalkley) and Nicole (Katherine Barrell) finally got married, while Wynonna (Melanie Scrofano) and Doc Holliday (Tim Rozon) put old grievances to rest and set off on a new adventure together, also stopping in on their infant daughter.

Having already revealed what she had planned for season 5, Andras and the show's cast have also shared their opinions on the final episode — dubbing it "beautiful" and "perfect".

"I personally couldn't have loved it more," Rozon told Entertainment Weekly.

"I was so happy. The arc of Doc over the four seasons and the way it came together, I was just so overwhelmed. Being on the back of that motorcycle, hanging onto the woman he loves, driving off to go see their girl, and just letting go of the past, it was perfect."

"[The wedding] was such a beautiful scene," added Barrell. "It felt like a start, it didn't feel like an end. It felt like the start of their next chapter."

Andras added: "I remember being on set when we filmed [the final mailbox scene] and it just felt perfect.

"That's what it's always been about.

"It starts with Wynonna coming home and not being sure she belongs there, and it [ends] with her leaving but everyone knowing that these characters will find each other once again, and hopefully that's true about Earp nation as well.

"We'll always have each other, and we've always have this."

Wynonna Earp aired on Syfy in the US.
