XOYO has revealed the first images of its brand new main room.

The Shoreditch club has given GO London an exclusive first look at its refurbished space, which sees a complete layout change of its underground dancefloor.

The old DJ booth has been demolished, with a new one now sitting on floor level at the far end of the room. The space left by the old booth will be used to create a bigger stage for live music performances at the venue.

Improved lighting and an additional sound system installation have also been added to the main space, which has in the past hosted the likes of Drake, Motor City Drum Ensemble, Skepta, Richie Hawtin and others.

The club’s second, smaller space has been rebranded as Green Room, with a focus on “lush plants and foilage-based decor”, bathed in red ambient light and with a newly bolstered sound system.

XOYO will show off its new look on October 12 for the first night of Hunee’s 10-week residency. The German DJ will take to the decks every Friday throughout October, November and December, welcoming Antal, Dr Rubinstein, DJ Nobu, Palms Trax and more to play alongside him.

Brilliant Corners, the east London audiophile venue, will host Green Room for the duration of the residency.
