Charlton Athletic 'drawn twice' in farcical Carabao Cup draw in Bangkok
The Carabao Cup first round draw descended into farce during a chaotic live broadcast from Thailand.
It was the first event put on to promote the competition by its new sponsor and will be remembered for a series of unfortunate errors.
Charlton Athletic appeared to be drawn both home and away as the team appeared on a graphic paired with Exeter and Cheltenham Town.
The video feed from Bangkok was streamed live on Carabao’s Facebook page but was not without problems.
Users were unable to continue watching temporarily after the first club, Birmingham City, were pulled from the pot.

Social media was abuzz with confused supporters who were baffled by the events in the Far East.
The EFL later confirmed that Oxford United were in fact drawn to play Cheltenham, with the confusion caused by a graphical error.
Meanwhile, Karl Robinson’s Addicks will travel to Exeter despite EFL chief executive Shaun Harvey reading the club’s name twice during a recap.
